Around twelve days before expected, our favourite Bonelli´s pair has laid the first egg of the season, predicting a good year for the reproductive pairs.

Since the first fertile lay, our pair has been advancing the lay every year. Last year, for example, they laid the 28th january and the year before, the 15th of february.

This situation, that at a first glance is very favourable for the success of the breeding programme of GREFA, make us advance all the releasing protocol in hacking or artificial nests, which is resulting to be difficult as we do not have financial support for the different participants of the project. Specially, the programme of Madrid´s community is being very complicated. On our side, we will do whatever we can (which is not small), but more than impossible...
